Betty Lou Marcom, 76, was born on May 31, 1945 in Amherst, Texas. She passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021 in her home surrounded by her loving family in Humble, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Palmer Meredith Cox Jr. & Essie Merle Rochelle Cox.
Betty is survived by her husband of 57.5 years of marriage, Joe O. Marcom. Sons; Barry Marcom and wife Dedra and Bruce Marcom and wife Marta. Daughters; Brenda Acosta and husband Mike, and Becky Trevino. As well as eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held Sunday, October 17, 2021 beginning from 5pm to 8pm in the chapel of Rios Funeral Directors.
Service will be held at 10:00am Monday, October 18, 2021 in the chapel of Rios Funeral Directors followed by a private graveside service.

Jerry L. Lynn, Sr. was born on February 11, 1946 in Marshall, Texas. He passed away on September 26, 2021 in Kingwood, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marshall W. Lynn, and Lois Lynn.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 58 years of marriage, Jayne Lynn. Sons: Jerry L. Lynn, Jr. and Richard D. Lynn and wife Kellie. Brothers: Don Blevins, Gerald Lynn, and Joe Lynn. Sister Judy Smithson. Grandchildren: Stephen Lynn, Christian Stewart, Jonathan Lynn, Alyssa Lynn, and Ricky Lynn. Great grandchildren: Braiden, Harper, Lincoln, and Connor.
For over 50 years, Jerry had a passion for giving young people an opportunity to learn a trade. Very few things gave him more pleasure than to see someone he hired, as a beginner, to eventually advance into a management position in the Grocery business. Jerry was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and Friend. He has been an active member of Victory Gospel Church in Coldspring, TX for many years.
Thomas Vuron Anderson, 68, was born on February 9, 1953 in Cleveland, Texas. He passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 in Conroe, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; Elmer & Velma Anderson; brothers; Elmer Jr., Odos, David, Walter and Larry; sisters; Dorothy and Mildred; as well as several cherished wives.
Thomas is survived by his oldest sister; Hazel Prazak; daughters; Heather Zapata and husband Luis; Amy Trumblee and husband Roy; Michelle Standridge and husband Shawn; and Amanda Richmond and husband Chris. As well as 12 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 11:00 at New Caney Family Worship Center 23214 FM 1485 in New Caney, Tx.
David “Wookie” Sarabia, 69, was born on September 14, 1952, in Toledo, Ohio. He gained his wings on September 19, 2021, in Houston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; Jesus Lopez Sarabia and Angelica Maldonado Guerra, and brother; Richard Sarabia.
David would help anyone he could and never expected anything in return. He was the life of the party. He enjoyed giving his friends a hard time. Was always getting himself, and anyone with him, into an adventure of some sort, but a good time and a lot of stories was usually the outcome. David loved his family. He treasured the time he got to spend with each of them, hoping to share a little of his spunk and spontaneity. David had a great love for Fast Pitch Softball on the Houston 9 as a player, coach, and score keeper.
David is survived by his wife; Rachel Sarabia of 50 years of marriage. Son; Thomas Hernandez and wife Norma. Daughters; Ericka Baxter and husband Earl and Stephanie Flores and husband Chris. Brothers; Jesse Sarabia and Gilbert Sarabia. One sister; Aurora Trevino. Six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
David will be missed by all that knew him and the many whose lives he impacted including nieces, nephews, extended family of cousins, aunts and uncles, and a host of friends, and loved ones he held dear to his heart.
Visitation will take place from 5pm to 8pm Monday, September 27, 2021 at Rios Funeral Directors, with rosary residing at 6:30pm.
Service will take place on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 12:30 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Brookside Memorial Park.
