Melinda Kay Wade

Melinda Kay Wade, 69, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2026 after a brief but fierce battle with lung cancer. Melinda was born on July 20, 1957 to Billy and Stella Wade. She spent lots of hours playing games with family, listening to live music, and loving on her dogs. She is preceded in death by her parents Billy Drew Wade and Stella Barton Wade. She will be remembered by children Leon Bacica, wife Sarah, and Aaron Bacica; siblings Vickie DuPlant, husband Ricky, Sheryl Bass, husband Randy, Rhonda Wade Richards, and Mark DuPlant; grandchildren Andrew, Preston, Alexis, and Cooper; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
