Michael Andrew Garrett of Conroe Tx, formerly from Nacogdoches Tx, was born 06/16/1966 to Terry L Commander-Colley and Sherman Andrew Garrett.
Mike was a very free spirit and had a heart of gold and a smile that could light up a room. He spent his childhood in Nacogdoches being spoilt by his grandparents and hanging out with his cousins Ray, Kim and Garrett whom he loved so dearly.
He started driving big trucks at the early age of 18 and continued to do so till the day the Lord called him home. The bigger, wider, taller the load the more he liked it. He hauled and pulled most of any type of trailer you could think of. He had to try it all. He loved to get in the mud, ride bulls or just any old thing that country boy could get into. Later He fought bulls at his home church, because he enjoyed watching the young one's ride and wanted to do his part in keeping them safe.
Mike met his wife in 1997 and they became the best of friends, although life would take them on different paths for a while, they continued to love one another with a love that never faded. The flame began again in the late part of 2008 and they decided to follow God and place the marriage in His hands. They joined Caney Creek Cowboy Church where they became members in 2009 and enjoyed the happiest of times together raising the youngest daughter in the church.
Mike loved all his children so very much and was so very proud of them for each held a special place. There was never a day that passed, When Mike was not talking about one of the kids or grandkids. Mike enjoyed and loved how our family was so well blended together. He would brag and say how lucky he was, because there were so many kids and they all have their own special talents that he would not have to worry about anything in his old age, because if something broke, he had a kids that new what to do or how to fix it. It was important to Mike that all the kids and grandkids would follow Jesus and that he loved them no matter what.
Mike was proceeded in death by his parents Terry Cooley and Sherman Garrett, His grandparents Finnie & Harvy Commander, Archie & Jewel Garrett. Father N Law, Frank Clark, Aunt Patsey and Uncle Raymond Drake and Cousin Ray Drake
