Deonna Carol Ramos, 59 was born on March 5, 1959 in Fort Worth. She passed away on
April 29, 2018. She is survived by her son's William Ramos and John Carter. Daughter's; Erin Caldwell and Geneva Ramos. Father; Marion "Doc" Snider and wife Rita. Brother's; Charles Snider, Darren Snider, David Snider, Jevon Snider and one sister; Denise Jennische.Two Grandchildren. Friend; Becky Jordan. She is preceded in death by her mother; Merlene Snider. 
Visitation will be held tonight April 30, 2018 at Rios Funeral Directors at 5pm to 8pm. Committal Service will be tomorrow May 1, 2018 at 10am at Houston National Cemetery in Houston

James (Jim) Robert Chapman, Houston, Texas
Jim was born on December 14, 1967 and at the age of 50 was promoted to glory on April 29, 2018. Jim was a native Houstonian and spent his lifetime in and around the Houston area. He was an active member in the Transportation industry for over 30 years. Jim spent many years in the industry statewide and developed countless business relationships as well as friendships throughout the state.
Jim loved fishing and he loved people. He was extremely fond of old cars, especially mustangs. Jim was a faithful member of his church, he could be counted on to be there every time the door was opened. He was a very kind and gentle soul; he had a loving and generous heart and was always giving to others.
Jim was a loving son, father, grandfather and brother. He leaves loving memories to be cherished by his children, as well as his grandchildren, father, brothers, sisters, and many friends and other family members.
 
Services will be held Wednesday May 9, 2018 at 2:00 at Rios Funeral Directors 21036 TX LOOP 494, New Caney Tx 77357. Graveside Services will follow at Rosewood Cemetery, Porter Tx.

Sharon Louise Marek

Sharon Louise Marek (née Hudspeth) died April 24, 2018 after complications from a heart procedure. She was 71.
 
Sharon was born on March 6, 1947 in Houston, TX. She graduated from Baytown Robert E. Lee High School and attended Lee College afterwards.  Sharon retired from Humble Independent School District after over 30 years working in technical services.  
 
Sharon had a passion for cooking and expressed her love by providing your favorite dish.  Although she loved sharing her cooking talents, she enjoyed the company of friends and family with frequent visits to her favorite Mexican food restaurants. When it came to crafts, Sharon was a natural.  Throughout her life, her home would be filled with many handmade items.  She is remembered by spending hours in the garden or sewing her next project.  She also had a talent for crocheting, painting, and many other activities that expressed her creativity. Sharon loved watching sports, soap operas and dramatic medical, police, or law shows. She enjoyed discussing the latest football season with her son and other fellow Dallas Cowboy fans. Sharon was a loyal friend to those who were blessed to have her trust and loved by anyone who knew her.  She was a loving Wife, Mother, Sister, Daughter, Aunt and Friend that will be dearly missed. 
 
Sharon is survived by her son Dale Marek and wife April; partner Toby Hill and his son Joe; brother Darrell Hudspeth and wife Judy; her niece Kimberly Adkins and husband Norman; nephews Richard Davis, and Derek Hudspeth and wife Celena. She is preceded in death by her parents Claude and Louise Hudspeth of La Grange, TX.
 
A memorial service will be conducted at Rios Funeral home in New Caney, Texas on Sunday June 3, 2018 at 1pm. Burial to be performed at a later date.

Roy Lee  Elza, 75 was born on November 5, 1942 in Alpena West Virginia. He passed away on April 11, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Annette Kelley Elza. Son; Roy Evertt Elza. Daughter; Angela Roann Elza Newton. Brother's; James Elza and Neven Elza. Eight grand children and twelve great grand children. He is preceded in death by brother; Evertt Lee Elza . Sister's Jessie Sharp and Carolyn Fitzgerald. Memorial Services will be held at Bethel Baptist Church in New Caney, Texas on Saturday April 21, 2018 at 11:00 am.  In lieu of flowers, one can make donations to Bethel Baptist Church.

James Michael Davis Jr., was born on June 7, 1979, Tampa Florida he passed away on April 11,2018, in the Woodlands. He is survived by his wife Sara Davis. Daughter's; Abigal Davis, Rhiannon Del Principe, and Amy Adams. Mother; Sandra Stemp and husband Wayne. Brother; Bradley Stemp. Sister; April Stemp. Visitation will be held at Rios Funeral Directors on  Saturday April 14, 2018 at 5pm to 8pm. Service will be on Sunday April 15, 2018 at Rios Funeral Directors at 11:00 am following burial at Cartwright Cemetery in Magnolia Texas.
