Todd Robinson, age 40 of New Caney, Texas passed peacefully from this life June 12th, 2019 after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Todd was born on May 11th, 1979 to Mark and Jeanette. He later met and married Rainie Marie Beatty and they gave life to their daughter Iris Rain Robinson on May 16, 2003. He was a skilled welder and worked in metal building fabrication where he thrived on the challenges associated with difficult builds and buildings. He was fearless on the job site and although he loved his work, his passion was auto racing.  His heart was poured into the pursuit of speed and his mind churned on how to perfect his car. His attention to detail and dedicated research lead him to build one of the fastest Subaru WRX’s in the state. Most importantly though, he was a beloved father and husband.

Todd is survived by his wife Rainie Marie Robinson and daughter Iris Rain Robinson as well as parents Mark and Jeannette, brother Michael, and numerous additional family and friends.
A memorial will be held at Rios Funeral Home at 21036 TX-494 Loop, New Caney, TX 77357 on June 24th, 2019 at 11:00 am. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations or contributions be made in Todd’s name to the National Foundation for Cancer Research https://www.nfcr.org/.

I just today heard about this, I am so sorry for not being there for the memorial as well as everyone here at my workplace. I had to go around to all my co-workers and break the news. There is a ton of respect for him here in our shop. Everyone here is speechless and saddened of the news. Todd, you were a great guy, again, I wish I could have been there for any kind of support. Texas has lost a bad ass guy.

Todd was one of the nicest guys. I met him a long time ago, hanging out with other car enthusiasts, and he was so welcoming. Always willing to give advice and answer questions about cars. He was just a very lovely person to be around. His family was also just a joy to hang out with. He helped so many people and was always so patient. My condolences to his wife and kids, and the rest of his family.

I’m just now finding out we lost Todd and I’m in shock and hurt. He was an awesome dude and was a friend to me when I was first getting into Houston’s car scene with my Subaru Legacy. I’m just speechless at this...To Rainie and Iris, I am truly sorry you are all having to deal with this devistating situation. Y’all together we’re friends to me and friends to many. I’m just in shock over this..............rest easy Todd.
