Our Dearest Nana, Susan May Rodgers, 70, died peacefully in her sleep December 22, 2021. Susan is survived by her former husband of 33 years James Michael Rodgers. Together they raised their three children who made up the entirety of her world. She is survived by all her children. Donna May Wells, 53, Michael James Rodgers, 51, and Crystal Jewell Webb, 38. In addition to her children, she is survived by her sister, Sally Rodgers, 75.

Nana was the Matriarch of the Rodgers family. A family that has grown by leaps and bounds over the last half a century. She was the embodiment of everything that a Nana should be. While everyone called her Nana, 9 of her grandchildren are blessed enough to carry on her ancestry. Three from each of her three children. Her oldest Donna’s children; Travis Castor, Tessa Castor, and Talyn Wells. Her only son Michael’s Children; Trenton Rodgers, Toryn Rodgers, and Tara Rodgers. And her baby Crystal’s children; Caden McClure, Rome McClure, and Andrew Webb. She was a Great Nana, literally, to six great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday January 2, from 3:00-6:00 PM at the Wentworth Club House, 19030 Timber Forest Dr. Humble, Texas 77346. On this day we will joyfully honor her legacy with those she loved, and what she loved.  We will smile, laugh and lovingly look back at pictures, as we tell memories of our Nana. Details to follow in the coming days.

This was very well written and speaks of a wonderful woman who left a legacy that tops anything any of us would hope for but not achieve.
I want to especially thank my daughter Crystal Webb for writing this for all us to read and remember such a great woman.

Susan was an amazing woman and loved by more people than she knew, she impacted everyone she knew and it's extremely saddening to hear that she is no longer with us .
This world will be missing a great woman and will be a bit emptier without her . She will be very much missed.

We send our deepest sympathy to the entire family of our longtime friend Susan. We know how hard losing a family member surely is. We are so thankful that our greatest enemy death will soon be a part of the past (Rev. 21:3,4).

Sending my deepest condolences to each of you! I pray Jehovah will bring peace & healing in the days ahead. Your mother’s singing will forever be cherished, piano playing missed, and may her love continue in each of you!

Crystal you did a beautiful job writing this, your mother would have been in tears, just as I was reading it. ♥️

Sincerely,
Jessica & The Lee Crew
