Sofia Garces Araoz, 84, was born on May 2, 1938 in Lima, Peru. She passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, in Kingwood, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents Prospero Garces and Rosa Araoz. Sofia is survived by her four daughters: Maria Elena Gamarra and husband Alejandro, Patricia Elizabeth Lopez and husband Manuel, Jenny Cecilia Alcazar and Luisa Solange Rodriguez and husband Oscar. One sister; Julia Jesus Santome and husband Augusto. Leaving to cherish all her memories and her wonderful 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
