Santiago Sierra, born on November 27, 1962, in San Luis Potosi, passed away on December 6, 2025, in Cypress, Texas. He lived a life full of love, adventure, and cherished moments with family and friends.

Santiago had a passion for the outdoors, finding joy and peace in hunting and fishing. He loved to cook and BBQ; you could not visit him and not leave with a full stomach. He also enjoyed traveling on cruises, where he enjoyed exploring new places and creating everlasting memories. Above all he treasured time spent with family and friends. Always offering a listening ear, a helping hand, and a warm smile.

He was a carpenter and master door builder for most of his life. The last decade he transitioned to the oil and gas industry where he met lifelong friends, Angel Solis and Alvaro Solis Jr.

Santiago is preceded in death by his mother, Francisca Sierra Rios; brother, Jose Amparo Sierra Rios; and daughter, Nancy Sierra. He is survived by his loving wife, Maria Guadalupe Sierra, with whom he shared 42 years of marriage.

Santiago's legacy continues through his sons, Robert Sierra and his wife Yajaira, and Daniel Sierra; his daughters, Jessica Tierrablanca and her husband Francisco, and Nancy Janette Romo and her husband Josue. He also leaves behind nine cherished grandchildren. He had 2 nieces he loved like daughters Christina and Cindy.

Santiago Sierra, nacido el 27 de noviembre de 1962 en San Luis Potosí, falleció el 6 de diciembre de 2025 en Cypress, Texas. Vivió una vida plena de amor, aventuras y momentos inolvidables junto a su familia y amigos.

Santiago sentía pasión por la naturaleza, encontrando alegría y paz en la cazaria y la pesca. Le encantaba cocinar y hacer BBQ; era imposible visitarlo y no irse con el estómago lleno. También disfrutaba viajando en cruceros, donde exploraba nuevos lugares y creaba recuerdos imborrables. Sobre todo, atesoraba el tiempo que pasaba con su familia y amigos, siempre dispuesto a escuchar, a ayudar y a brindar una cálida sonrisa.

Fue carpintero y maestro en la fabricación de puertas durante la mayor parte de su vida. En la última década, se dedicó a la industria del petróleo y el gas, donde conoció a amigos que lo acompañaron toda la vida Angel Solis y Alvaro Solis Jr.

A Santiago le precedieron en la muerte su madre, Francisca Sierra Ríos; su hermano, José Amparo Sierra Ríos; y su hija, Nancy Sierra. Le sobreviven su amada esposa, María Guadalupe Sierra, con quien compartió 42 años de matrimonio.

El legado de Santiago perdura a través de sus hijos, Robert Sierra y su esposa Yajaira, y Daniel Sierra; sus hijas, Jessica Tierrablanca y su esposo Francisco, y Nancy Janette Romo y su esposo Josué. También le sobreviven nueve queridos nietos. Tenía dos sobrinas a las que quería como hijas, Christina y Cindy.
