Ryan George Richardson, 43, passed away on March 11, 2026. Born and raised in Kingwood, Texas, Ryan was known for his kind heart, quick wit, and the genuine care he offered to everyone he met.
Ryan attended Texas Tech University and later built a successful career in the oil and gas industry. Outside of work, he embraced life’s simple joys. He loved spending time on the golf course, gathering with friends, and welcoming others into his home. Whether he was grilling or smoking meat, Ryan took great pride in bringing people together, creating community, and making sure everyone felt at ease.
Ryan had a deep love for animals and a steadfast loyalty to his friends and family. Thoughtful and introspective by nature, he was admired not only for his humor, but for his sincerity, generosity, and the warmth he carried into every relationship.
Family meant everything to Ryan. He spoke often and fondly of his father, Ron Richardson Sr., who preceded him in death, and he cherished his mother, Phyllis, with profound love and gratitude. Ryan believed in treating others with kindness and respect, and he never hesitated to help anyone in need.
Ryan is survived by his mother, Phyllis; his brother, Ron Richardson Jr.; his girlfriend, Shannon O’Donnell; nephew Henry and niece Vivienne Ryan; and many friends and loved ones whose lives were made brighter by knowing him.
Ryan will be remembered as a gentle soul whose loyalty, humor, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of calling him a friend.
