He passed away on April 25, 2021 in Humble, Texas.He is preceded in death by his father Gene Rollie Padgett. Russell is survived by his mother Geraldine Padgett, two brothers Stephen Douglas Padgett and Calvin Roy Padgett, one sister Sheila Denise Gilbert, six nephews Jason, Aaron, Wyoming, Judah, Joshua, and Isaiah Padgett and four nieces Danielle Padgett, Leah Padgett, Sandy Gilbert, and Amy Gilbert. A private service will be held by the family.
