Rafaela is survived by her daughters JoAnne Munguia (Lizandro), Esmeralda Garza (Juan Carlos), Rachel Lopez (husband Manuel), one brother Sigifredo De Leon (wife Nelly), sisters Ninfa Ocañas, Sanjuanita De Leon, Eudoxia Peña, Mercedes De Leon, and Rosa Maria De Leon, ten grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.
