Judy Lynn Laird (Tinsley) was born to Maxine Crabb (Morgan) and Lester Tinsley on August 17, 1958 in Waco, TX.  Although she had two children at a young age, she obtained a degree in accounting by attending several years of night school while working full time.   She had a long career as an HR manager at Empire Truck Lines where she had several close friends and was considered a part of the family.

In 1994, she met the love of her life, Danny.  They were married in Las Vegas, NV on October 3, 1997.  Together they enjoyed making lots of memories with their grandchildren, vacationing, and talking and laughing for hours on their back patio.  She also loved going to the Casino and watching the Houston Texans. She is preceded in death by mother; Maxine Crabb (Morgan), father; Lester Morris, brothers; Layne Tinsley and Keith Tinsley and multiple aunts, uncles and cousins. She is survived by her husband of 22 years; Danny Laird and brother; Ronnie Tinsley, children; Jennifer Ellerbe, Roy Ellerbe and wife September, Alicia Swan and husband Steven, Christine Laird, and Danny Wayne and wife Jean. Grandchildren; Nathan Wagoner, Ethan Wagoner, Addison Ellerbe, Aubrey Richards, Hayden Richards, Austin Swan, Raymond Swan, Brooke Ellingburg, Hailey Buell, Justin Laird, Jacob Laird, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 5pm to 8pm with a service starting at 7pm at Rios Funeral Directors.

Dear Judy,
Thank you for always including me in all the family activities you could. Thank you for treating me so kind and making me feel at home. There was never a time I went hungry or lacked attention when i was under your roof. You were a strong, wonderful lady who's smile could light up a room. I will hold every memory close to my heart. God bless your family and may they find comfort and peace at through this devastating time.

Love you nana, to infinity and all the way back!! We will meet again and i will see you in my heart everyday! 🖤

To my family - I hope you find comfort in your heart knowing that she is no longer in pain, and she will be watching over us all. She loved everyone so much. The last thing she said to me in Thanksgiving were that she loves us all so much, and i know she meant everyone. Friends and family.
