Jorge was a loving father who found joy in music and dance wherever he went. You could always catch him grooving or busting a move, no matter what the tune.

Jorge also loved spending time with his family, whether it was taking family road trips and cramming into a car with five kids or going fishing just down the road. He loved being surrounded by family and took great pride in watching his children grow and succeed. He was blessed to give his daughters their first cars, helping prepare them for the journeys that lay ahead. He also had the privilege of watching his sons become the men they are today, and he will continue to watch over them from above.

Jorge was overjoyed to welcome his grandchildren into this world and cherished being able to pass down his dance moves to them. He especially treasured the mornings spent sharing coffee and pan with his Ezekiel and dancing their way into the start of the day.

Jorge’s wonderful sense of humor brought people together, and he never failed to make others laugh or fill their hearts with joy. Though he could sometimes be impatient and hard-headed, those qualities were simply part of what made him who he was — and they are among the many things we will always remember and cherish about him.

Jorge fue un padre amoroso que encontraba alegría en la música y el baile dondequiera que iba. Siempre se le podía ver moviendo el cuerpo o marcándose unos pasos de baile, sin importar cuál fuera la melodía.

A Jorge también le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia, ya fuera emprendiendo viajes por carretera —apiñados en el auto junto a sus cinco hijos— o yendo de pesca a un lugar cercano. Amaba estar rodeado de su familia y sentía un inmenso orgullo al ver a sus hijos crecer y alcanzar el éxito. Tuvo la bendición de regalar a sus hijas sus primeros automóviles, ayudándolas así a prepararse para los caminos que les esperaban por delante. También tuvo el privilegio de ver a sus hijos convertirse en los hombres que son hoy en día, y continuará velando por ellos desde el cielo.

Jorge se llenó de dicha al dar la bienvenida a este mundo a sus nietos, y atesoraba la oportunidad de transmitirles sus pasos de baile. Valoraba especialmente aquellas mañanas en las que compartía café y pan con su nieto Ezekiel, comenzando el día al ritmo de la danza.

El maravilloso sentido del humor de Jorge unía a las personas; nunca dejaba de hacer reír a los demás ni de llenar sus corazones de alegría. Aunque a veces podía ser impaciente y un tanto obstinado, esos rasgos eran simplemente parte de lo que lo hacía ser quien era, y figuran entre las muchas cosas que siempre recordaremos y atesoraremos de él.
