Jessie James Rawls Sr, 75, was born on March 25, 1951, in Houston, Tx. He passed away on March 28, 2026, in Porter, Texas. Jessie was a long-time resident of Splendora, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Pauleen Rawls and wife Tina Rawls. Jessie is survived by his sons, Jesse Rawls Jr. and wife Michelle, Christopher Rawls and wife Stacey, Gregory Rawls and wife Sabrina, Jason Rawls and wife Chanel and brother John Boggs, 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 1, 2026, from 10am to 12pm at Rios Funeral Directors Chapel in New Caney, Texas. Graveside Service will be held at 12:30 at Splendora Cemetery in Splendora Texas.
