James was wonderful friend and brother to me. I often think about our fishing trips and fun times. As I reflect on his life I only can think of James lived to the fullest and loved just the same. I will miss you my friend see you on the other side.

To Jim's family and to the Chapmans and Sanfords, it was devastating to receive the news of his passing. I'm saddened that I haven't seen him in such a long time and will not be able to take him up on his multiple offers to go and fish with him. The Jim I remember is definitely captured in the obituary. He was/is a kind man, eager to help out in any situation, whatsoever. He wholeheartedly gave of himself time and time again. I'm also sad that I will not be able to attend the service tomorrow.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family as you have another member of your family join the others that went before him to heaven . I appreciated Jim coming to mother's visitation and getting to talk to him. I remember at daddy's funeral be brought me one of the spent shells from the 21 gun salute. That was so kind and thoughtful of him. May you find some peace knowing what a wonderful person Jim was and that he is in a much better place. Love always
