Etheleene Freeman, 78, was born on March 19, 1948, in Timpson, Texas, and passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026, in Kingwood, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harvey Gaston “Bud” Hudman and Elizabeth Bryce Hudman; her brothers, Leon Hudman and Jamie Claude Hudman; and her sister, Ernesteene Hudman.

Etheleene is survived by her devoted spouse of 60 years, Johnny E. Freeman Sr.; her son, Johnny E. Freeman Jr.; and her daughters, Lee Ann Biavaschi and husband Scott, and Robin Rhodes and husband Dusty. She leaves behind her beloved grandchildren—Madison, Brandon and wife Malory, Lexie, Colton and wife Paige, and Reagan—as well as one precious great‑grandchild, Birdie Lou Rhodes. She is also survived by her brother, Harvey Ray Hudman and wife Shirley, and her sister‑in‑law, Glenda Hudman.

To know Etheleene was to be welcomed by warmth, kindness, and a spark that could ignite abmition. With her charming personality, a gift for conversation, and sparkling blue eyes that seemed to smile even before she spoke, she made friends wherever she went. She was vibrant, social, and full of life—someone who truly loved people and loved deeply in return. For more than 50 years, Etheleene served her community as a dedicated realtor. Her work was more than a career; it was a ministry of connection. She built lasting relationships, supported families through important milestones, and left an indelible mark on her community. Her joyful spirit and natural charisma will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Etheleene loved God and lived her faith with conviction, staying true to her upbringing and the values that guided her life. She found peace in Jesus, beauty in nature, loved flowers, springtime and most importantly, her family.

The family will hold a small, intimate gathering in her memory at a later date.
