Elvia De La Zerda Medellin, age 69, was born on September 11, 1956, in San Antonio, Texas, and passed away on October 15, 2025, in Houston, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 37 years, Roger Medellin, her parents Arthur De La Zerda and Guadalupe Benitez, and her brothers Jesse De La Zerda and Arthur De La Zerda.

Elvia is survived by her daughters Alexandra, Candice, April, and Elvira; her sisters Terry Gonzalez and Mary Helen (Alfred) Lozano; and her cherished grandchildren Damien, Samuel, Kayla, Karissa, Tate, Chloe, Anastasia, and Clariece. She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren Alana, Elena, and Scarlett, as well as her nephews Michael, Alfred, and nieces Priscilla(Ryan), Alexis (Roger), Veronica and Mary Helen. Great- nieces and nephews Corine, Kristin, Madalynn, Elijah, Elias, Eliana, Dylan, Aubri, Izaiah, Marco, Zoey and Scarlett.

Elvia will be remembered for her love, strength, and devotion to her family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
