Daniel Curtis Gonzales

Daniel Gonzales, 75, left this world peacefully on 10/18/2025, surrounded by his loving family in his residence. 

Dan was born on 11/18/1949 in New Orleans, LA. He grew up in New Orleans, where he developed a deep love for his family and a strong work ethic. After graduating from Warren Eastern High School, he joined the United States Navy. After serving his country, he pursued a career with Ecolab, to which he dedicated himself for 27 years.

A loving husband to Angela Gonzales (his beautiful bride of 55 years), Dan was a pillar of strength and support for his family. Together, they raised three sons. He was a devoted father, always there to offer guidance, love, and a hearty laugh. He cherished family gatherings, and his presence at holidays and celebrations brought warmth and joy to those around him. 

Dan had many passions in life, including leather smithing and fishing, which he enjoyed sharing with his children and grandchildren. He was known for his kindness, generosity, and his sense of humor could light up any room. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary, along with his brothers, Johnny and Craig. 

Dan is survived by his loving wife, Angela, children: Daniel (Jill), Paul (Mandy), and Michael (Kara); along with seven grandchildren: Kaylee, David, Gina, Blake, Jacey, Reese and Daniel. 

A funeral service to celebrate Dan's life will be held on 10/29/2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, located at 109 N. Frazier St, Conroe, TX 77301 at 10:30am. Friends and family are invited to attend and pay their respects. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Tunnels 2 Towers in Daniel Gonzales' memory.
