Bobby William Helms

It's with heavy hearts we share the sad news that Bobby William Helms passed away unexpectedly on December 12, 2025, at his residence in East Bernard, Texas. He was 70 years old. His family is deeply saddened and shocked by his sudden death.

Bobby was born on April 15, 1955, in Shamrock, Texas. He survived and will be missed by his loving and faithful wife of 24 years, Carolyn Helms, and their daughters, Tabetha Helms and Sharon Helms. He is also forever cherished and remembered by his five grandchildren and one great-grandchild, as well as his brother and best friend Tommie Helms and his wife Carolyn. Bobby was preceded in death by his daughter, Sherry Helms; his parents, Verdell and Mildred Helms; and his sister, Joy Helms Grimes.

Bobby was a man of many passions—from listening to his favorite country music to watching his old western movies. However, his greatest passion was helping others. He had a generous heart, big personality, and unwavering dedication to those he loved. His laughter, smile, and love will forever be a part of the memories of those who knew him.

The family will receive friends from Noon until the time of the service.
