Betty J. Noonan 1/21/1928 - 7/28/2024

Betty passed away at the age of 96, she lived a long healthy life.

Born and raised in the small town of Valparaiso, Indiana and she lived in the country for 81 years. In her younger years she enjoyed having an annual garden growing sweet corn, tomatoes, radishes and green beans. She also enjoyed growing peonies and roses.

Betty reluctantly moved to the big city of Houston, Texas to be with her children at the age of 81. It didn't take long for her to settle in and love life in Texas with her children and their families. Her niece once told her "bloom where you're planted" and that's exactly what she did.

She was an avid reader and loved murder mysteries, she looked forward every week of the arrival of her people magazine. She liked crime TV shows, HGTV and some of her other favorite programs were Dancing with the Stars, American Idol and American's got Talent. Her favorite movies were To Sir with Love and Pretty Woman. She loved George Clooney and Adam Lambert. Some of her favorite songs were Georgia on my mind, Unforgettable, It had to be you and Old time rock and roll.

Betty loved family Christmas gatherings, family vacations and reunions. She always looked forward to celebrating Christmas and the shopping in preparation for the family gathering.

Betty was a true creature of habit and a real homebody!

She liked reading obituaries, she found them to be very interesting. We are hoping this one would exceed her expectations of a great obituary!

She will be greatly missed by her 3 children, their spouses, 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren that knew her as Gigi.
