Barbara Annette Warren

On Thursday, June 11, 2026, Barbara Annette Warren, 78 years old, peacefully left this earth to
live eternally with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a faithful servant of God who loved
her family dearly.

Barbara dedicated many years of her life serving as the church pianist, working in the church
office, and involved in numerous church ministries from youth to ladies to senior adults. She
touched many lives through the music ministry and serving alongside her husband as a Sunday
School teacher. She especially loved ministering and encouraging those battling cancer.

Barbara was born in Houston, Texas on November 12, 1947. She graduated from Sam Houston
High School, class of 1966, and married her high school sweetheart, Darrel, later that year. They
raised four children who gave them eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren whom
she loved and doted over. She enjoyed traveling all over the U.S. with her husband in their RV
and spent her retirement years doing so full time with him.

Barbara was a strong Christian woman, full of faith and love. She was deeply loved and an
inspiration to many. She will be missed here on this earth until we meet her again in Heaven.

Barbara is proceeded in death by her parents, Robert and Georgia Hughes, her two brothers,
Richard and William (Billy) Hughes, and her daughter-in-law Billie Jo Warren.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of sixty years, Darrel Warren; her children, Tami Miller and
husband, Robert, Julie Archer and husband, Jason, Darrel (Jason) Warren, and Jeremy Warren
and wife, Aja; her grandchildren, Kasey, Ryan and wife, Kristen, Tyler and wife, Kinsey, Allyson,
Cameron, Gavin, Rider, and RiveeRose; her great grandchildren, Audrey, Asher, and Beckett; her
brothers, Robert and Benton (Benny) Hughes; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws,
and friends.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways
acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6
