Barbara Jean (Stephens) Pinnock (aka Bunny, Mom mom, and Sargeant Barb), passed peacefully just 4 days after her 83rd birthday on April 14, 2022.  Barbara was born at home on April 10, 1939, one day after Easter which earned her the nickname “Bunny”, to late parents David and Caroline (Okulewicz) Stephens in Mt. Ephreim, NJ.  Beloved wife of Ronald Richard Pinnock who predeceased her in 2015.  She was a former resident of Wallingford, PA and has resided in Texas the past 39 years.  Barbara held various positions including a telephone operator for AT&T, an assembler of circuit boards, co-owner of a delicatessen, assistant service manager for Videon Chrysler Dodge, and in the cafeteria of Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital in Humble, TX.  The love and devotion she so effortlessly showed Ron and the rest of her family was nothing short of remarkable.  Everyone was always welcome at her table and she’d happily whip up something delicious for anyone that dropped by to visit.  She enjoyed playing pinochle with her friends and spoiling her grandchildren and great grands.  She was loving, genuine, frank and generous to a fault.

Mrs. Pinnock was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her sister Constance (Stephens) Tworek.  She is survived by her children Ronald Jr. (Alicia) of Moyock, NC, Stephanie Rosier (Shannon) of Atascocita, TX, Dawn Fenstermacher (Ray) of Parkesburg, PA, Jennifer Nelson (Devin) of Kingwood, TX, her sister Audrey Nell of Elizabeth City, NC, Donald Stephens of Coatesville, PA and Eileen Brown of Lewes, DE, grandchildren Ryan Pinnock, Corinne George, Melissa Rosier, Colton Rosier, Benjamin Fenstermacher, Nicole Cervantes, Joseph Wreyford and Zachary Tice, great grandchildren Wyatt Marcrum, Shane George and Sebastian Cervantes, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.  Her family is honoring her wishes for cremation.  A memorial service to celebrate her life will take place at a later date in Pennsylvania, close to many of her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, please donate in Barbara’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association at act.alz.org

My Barbi (as I always called her) and her beloved Ron are hugging, smiling and watching
all of their darling children from Heaven. None of us wanted her to leave us but we all know she is in good hands. Miss you two so much.

The fun we had with Barb and Ron in earlier days at EAL can never be replaced or duplicated - afternoon shift at the airport meant cards after midnight at Barb's and Ron's while the kids slept or peeked down the steps Two people who loved each other dearly and let the rest of us join in their life. Their children were the heart of their existence - together again wheels up Barb - Ron is waiting xo
