Alice Thomas Backus (85) was born August 15, 1938, in Stamford, Texas and passed away on May 18, 2024 in Humble, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband Harold Backus, her son Michael Butler, and her parents Thurman Josah Thomas & Clela Inez Brown, her brothers Thurman Otho Thomas (Buddy), Charles Douglas Thomas, sisters Millie Sue Thomas Vinson and Bobbie Lane Thomas Durocher.
Alice is survived by her sons Richard Butler, Edward Paul Butler, and Terence Patrick Butler, grandchildren Kelsie Marie Butler, Heather Nicol Butler Lautenschlager, Zachery Ryan Butler, and Michael Joseph Butler, as well as six great grandchildren, among others nephew Charlie Thomas (wife Celia), and children Ari & Arianna.
