A beloved wife, daughter, sister, mother and grandmother Adelaida is survived by her husband of 20 years, Jose Morales; her parents, Adelaido Gomez Sanchez & Paula Perez Acunia; her sons, Jose A. Montes Jr & wife Cecilia, Angel Montes & Co-Parent Vanesa Aguilar; her daughters, Ariana Vega & husband Jose Jesus, Estella Montes & husband Mike Cantu; her brother Elaizar Gomez; her sisters Claudia Gomez, Yanet Gomez, and her grandchildren, Jessy, Thiago, Dalilah, Bellamy and Theo.

Her warmth, strength, and unwavering love touched the lives of all who knew her. Adelaida was vibrant in life, always wearing a smile on her face and effortlessly bringing smiles to others. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, and deep devotion to her family, who were the center of her world.

During this time of loss, we come together not only to mourn, but to celebrate a life so beautifully lived. In her honor, we kindly ask all who attend her service to wear pink—a color that reflects her spirit, her love, and the joy she brought into our lives.

We appreciate your thoughts, prayers, and support as we remember and celebrate an extraordinary life.

Adelaida Gómez, de 53 años, llegó a este mundo en Marzo 16 de 1973 en Xicoténcatl, Tamaulipas, México, y nos dejó en Abril 25 de 2026 en Harlingen, Texas.

Amada esposa, hija, hermana, madre y abuela Adelaida es sobrevivida por su esposo de 20 años, José Morales; sus padres, Adelaido Gómez Sánchez y Paula Pérez Acuña; sus hijos, José A. Montes Jr. y su esposa Cecilia, y Ángel Montes y su esposa Vanesa Aguilar; sus hijas, Ariana Vega y su esposo José Jesús, y Estella Montes y su esposo Mike Cantú; su hermano, Elaizar Gómez; sus hermanas, Claudia Gómez y Yanet Gómez; y sus nietos: Jessy, Thiago, Dalilah, Bellamy y Theo.

Su calidez, su fortaleza y su amor inquebrantable tocaron las vidas de todos aquellos que la conocieron. Adelaida fue una persona vibrante en vida; siempre llevaba una sonrisa en el rostro y lograba, sin esfuerzo hacer sonreír a los demás. Deja tras de sí un legado de bondad, resiliencia y una profunda devoción hacia su familia, la cual constituía el centro de su mundo.

En este momento de pérdida, nos reunimos no solo para guardar luto, sino también para celebrar una vida vivida con tanta belleza.
